Talladega County BoE approves three capital improvement bids

TALLADEGA, Ala. – The Talladega County Board of Education has approved three construction bids for district schools – a new driveway for Lincoln High School, new flooring for Stemley Road Elementary School, and a new batting facility for Munford High School.

The next approved bid was awarded to H.N. Donahoo Contracting Company Inc,, for a new, exit-only driveway, on the Drew Middle School side of the Lincoln High campus to help the flow of car-rider traffic, at a cost of $373,083.

The new flooring at Stemley was awarded to Dominguez Design-Build Inc., in the amount of $324,000.

Milam & Company LLC. was awarded the bid for a new batting facility at Munford High, in the amount of $266,268. The new facility is expected to be completed in time for the next season.
