Sylacauga Young Professionals present the 4th annual Crawfish Boil on July 13, 2019 behind Fermenters Market at the Rex. This year's fundraiser benefits the Coosa Valley Medical Center Foundation. Live music will be provided by The Wilson Brothers Band and Tommy Brown. Admission is free. Crawfish plates may be purchased at Odie's Deli.
The City of Sylacauga will host a blood drive on Friday, June 28, from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. in the parking lot at City Hall.
All blood types are needed during this summer shortage period. Donors will receive a recognition item and a free cholesterol screening.

Sylacauga City Schools will offer FREE meals Monday through Thursday to children ages 18 and under from May 28 until July 18 at Indian Valley Elementary for breakfast (8:00-8:45 a.m.) and lunch (noon-1:00 p.m.). Free meals will also be provided Monday through Thursday at Nichols-Lawson Middle School from May 28 – June 6 for lunch between 11:30 a.m. and noon.
