SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Meteorologist James Spann will visit Sylacauga this weekend.
Spann announced the visit on his professional Facebook page.
“I think this is really cool because everybody loves James Spann, and they know who he is,” said Cuppa Grace Manager Jacincha Hay. “He is a public figure, and it is really good public relations for the company as well.”
Spann will be hosted at Cuppa Grace in downtown Sylacauga from 9 a.m. until noon to meet people from the community and sign copies of his autobiography, Weathering Life.
The books website reads, “This autobiography allows folks to ride along with James Spann on his long and winding life journey. They will learn things they don’t know about him, experience deep details concerning the historic weather events that shaped his career, and most importantly, learn some things that just might help them in their lives and in their darkest days. The book was written not only to document a long career in weather and the events that shaped it but to serve as an encouragement and blessing to those who read it.”
Books will be available for purchase on site.
