LINCOLN, Ala. – Senior citizens are the most commonly targeted demographic for cybercriminals. The Lincoln Public Library is connecting high school students with their senior citizen community to help them avoid being victims of online scammers.

The local library has enlisted Lincoln High School students to present a Senior Citizen Cyber Security class. Those Lincoln High Cyber Security students have been researching common practices by cyber criminals and will be sharing what they’ve learned on Friday, March 14 at 2:00 p.m.

The “Avoiding Online Scams” event will be held at The Laundry Room, located on US Hwy 78 in Lincoln. It is open to the public and presented by the City of Lincoln’s library.
