ASHLAND, Ala. – AltaPointe Health, a leading provider of comprehensive mental health services, celebrated the grand opening of its new state-of-the-art clinic in Clay County with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The new facility, located in Ashland, represents a significant milestone in AltaPointe’s commitment to enhancing access to mental healthcare.

The ceremony provided attendees with an exclusive pre-opening tour of the clinic, allowing them to witness the organization’s dedication to delivering exceptional care.

“Today is a special opportunity that allows attendees to explore the facility before any patients are seen, gaining a firsthand understanding of our commitment to deliver exceptional care,” said Tuerk Schlesinger, AltaPointe Health CEO. “The pre-opening tour aims to showcase the thoughtful design and functionality of the new clinic, emphasizing the importance of creating an environment that promotes healing, comfort, and safety.”

The tour showcased the clinic’s innovative features and services, including advanced technology and a highly skilled team of mental health professionals.

AltaPointe staff and key representatives were on hand to answer questions and provide detailed information, giving attendees a comprehensive understanding of the clinic’s capabilities in delivering personalized, evidence-based care.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by the mayor of Ashland, Larry Fetner, who joined in the ribbon-cutting alongside city council members, AltaPointe board members, and local leaders.

“This beautiful building and its purpose will help many people in our community,” Fetner said. “We are thankful that AltaPointe is here and look forward to how it will only make Ashland an even better place to live. This building helps erase stigma connected to mental illness, and I hope it encourages more people to seek help and not be embarrassed.”

AltaPointe Health also aims to collaborate closely with Clay County Hospital to address the mental health needs of patients.

The organization has already begun working with hospital administrators to develop a plan for providing mental health services, highlighting its commitment to supporting the medical community and enhancing overall patient care.

In early June, the new clinic will commence operations, offering a range of mental health services to residents of Clay County. The location will replace the Lineville facility, ensuring continued access to care for patients while delivering expanded services and improved facilities.

AltaPointe Health, with its mission to provide comprehensive mental healthcare, continues to make a significant impact in Alabama.

Through its wide range of services and commitment to innovation, AltaPointe serves thousands of individuals each year, striving to meet the mental health needs of communities across the state.
