CHILDERSBURG, Ala. – B&A Photography & Learning Studio celebrated the opening of its new location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Childersburg Area Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, Aug. 26.
Located at 34892 U.S. Hwy 280 in Childersburg, next to Adding Space, the studio is owned by Justina Lightsey, who has spent the past 12 years building her business in the area. After outgrowing her previous location, Lightsey expanded into the new space and introduced new features designed to better serve families, children, and local entrepreneurs.
B&A Photography & Learning Studio focuses on capturing memories, creating connections, and providing a welcoming environment for the community. The studio offers a wide range of photography services, including newborn, maternity, family, milestone, cake smash, senior, engagement, wedding, sports, branding, and seasonal mini sessions.
In addition to photography, the expanded location includes a learning studio featuring toddler programs, children’s classes, camps, and homeschool-friendly activities. The business also provides boutique vendor spaces and opportunities for local small businesses through pop-up events and collaborative partnerships.
Community members, Chamber representatives, and supporters gathered to celebrate the milestone and check out the new facility. Brown Butter Bakery provided catering for the event.
Lightsey thanked those in attendance for supporting the studio and its continued growth.
