TALLADEGA COUNTY, Ala. – The Talladega County Commission will meet tonight, Aug. 13 at 6:00 p.m.
The following items are set to be discussed:
- Approve minutes of July 23, 2018.
- Approve application for abatement of taxes and agreement by Talladega Superspeedway LLC.
- Waste Pro of Alabama, Inc. request for cost of living (CPI) increase for period June 2017 to June 2018.
- Recommend approval to refund excess bid funds from 2013 tax sale.
- Discuss approval to install ramp at election site.
- Approval to enter into lease with Kyocera for a new copier in Probate.
- Approve resolution allowing Talladega County Highway Department to perform work for Town of Oak Grove.
- Approve agreement for consulting services with Roadside Inc. for herbicide services.
- Recommendation for Award of Ironaton Cutoff Road Improvements Project Bids.
- Conference requests.
- Personnel requests.
- Expenditures.
A work session will be held at 5:00 p.m. prior to the commission meeting which will begin at 6:00 p.m.
