SPD makes arrest for theft on BOE property

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Sylacauga Police Department has arrested 48-year-old Doyle Vincent Wyatt for a Saturday, July 15, theft of Sylacauga Board of Education property on 4th St.

Wyatt was booked into the Talladega County Jail on Wednesday morning, with bond set at $10,000. He was charged with Burglary 3rd, a Class C Felony punishable by not more than 10 years in prison or less than one year and one day. Items stolen were recovered and returned.
