SYLACAUGA, Ala. – After a brief stint away, orthopedic surgery specialist Dr. Anthony Tropeano has returned to Sylacauga and will begin taking new patients starting this month at the new Coosa Valley Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Clinic.
Dr. Anthony Tropeano, MD, is has accumulated over 28 years of experience in the medical field.
He graduated from UAB’s School of Medicine in 1995, training under the likes of famed surgeons Dr. James Andrews and Dr. Larry Lemak, and later completed his residency at the University of South Alabama.
From 2003 until his first arrival in Sylacauga, Dr. Tropeano worked at the Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital in Demoplis.
Then, in 2013, he came on board at Coosa Valley Medical Center (CVMC) and saw patients in Sylacauga until his departure to Dickson, Tenn. last February.
For the last year, Dr. Tropeano has practiced and received specialized training at Dickson Medical Associates, an affiliate of Tristar Horizon Medical Center.
Now, Dr. Anthony Tropeano is back in Sylacauga.
