TALLADEGA, Ala. – One man is dead, and another man was injured during a Sunday evening shooting incident in Talladega. The deceased victim has been identified as 25-year-old Nyles Ashley of Talladega.
Police were called to a home off Mardisville Road around 6:45 p.m. to investigate a disturbance. Officers found Ashley dead at the scene, apparently from gunshot wounds. Another 25-year-old man was injured with non-life-threatening wounds.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances around the incident. Police said they were still looking for a suspect in this shooting incident. More information is expected on Tuesday.
