SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Coosa Pines Federal Credit Union (CPFCU) has announced the promotion of Nora Pruitt to the position of Accounting Manager.
With a career spanning over 17 years at the credit union, Nora’s dedication and expertise in the accounting department has landed her this well-deserved role.
Nora Pruitt, a native of Sylacauga, embarked on her journey with CPFCU more than a decade ago and has since gained favor within the organization. Over the past 11 years, she has been a vital part of the accounting team, serving as the Accounting Coordinator for the last six years.
Reflecting on her tenure at CPFCU, Nora expressed her deep admiration for the institution.
“When I started 17 years ago, Coosa Pines had always been known as the best financial institution in town,” she shared. “Once I decided to make a career in finance, I knew I wanted to work for the best. It really is a special place to work.”
Nora also emphasized the significance of her colleagues, stating, “I can honestly say that as much time as we spend together, we become our own family. I have some of the best coworkers you could ever ask for.”
Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Benjamin Puckett praised Nora’s dedication and abilities, saying, “Nora is an amazing employee and an even better person. She excels at anything she picks up, and I am so excited to see her as the Accounting Manager. The sky is the limit for her, and we are all extremely lucky to have Nora at Coosa Pines.”
