CLAY COUNTY, Ala. – The newly formed Clay-Coosa Narcotics Drug Task Force continues its efforts to investigate and arrest individuals involved in illegal drug use and distribution throughout Clay County, making 11 arrests during the most recent quarter.
Investigators conducted multiple narcotics investigations, executed search warrants, and carried out proactive traffic enforcement operations that resulted in numerous drug-related arrests across several Clay County communities.
The following individuals were arrested during recent narcotics operations:
Eddie Zackery, of Lineville
Demauri Clark, of Talladega
Jodie Duncan, of Lineville
Teresa Brown, of Ashland
Freddie Caldwell, of Ashland
Quartisa Houston, of Ashland
Joseph Blancher, of Ashland
Aaron Johnson, of Lineville
Kira Colabella, of Lineville
Brandi Sims, of Lineville
Nathan Godwin, of Lineville
According to authorities, the arrests are the result of the continued commitment of Sheriff Henry Lambert and the Clay-Coosa Narcotics Drug Task Force to combat illegal drug activity and remove dangerous drugs from communities across Clay County.
Investigators said they will continue targeting individuals involved in the use, distribution, and trafficking of illegal narcotics throughout the county.
Sheriff Lambert thanked investigators with the Clay-Coosa Narcotics Drug Task Force, deputies with the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, the Lineville Police Department, the Ashland Police Department, the Coosa County Sheriff’s Office, the Goodwater Police Department, the Rockford Police Department, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, and the District Attorney’s Office for the 40th Judicial Circuit for their continued partnership and assistance in these investigations.
