CHILDERSBURG, Ala.  — The Lady Tigers are in the Final Four, and the Kiwanis Club of Childersburg is helping fans attend the game.

Students wishing to attend the Final Four Basketball Tournament to cheer on the Lady Tigers will benefit from the Kiwanis Club of Childersburg with its donation of $500 towards the Basketball Fan Bus.

“Kids need Kiwanis, now more than ever before, and this donation is an example of how our club can meet a need in our community,” said Janice Grohs, President. “Without support from the community many students aren’t able to participate in such exciting events.”

Annually, the Kiwanis Club of Childersburg hosts several fundraisers all to raise money to support projects that benefit children.

The Kiwanis Club of Childersburg welcomes new members who want to serve their community. Information about becoming a member is available on their Facebook page, contacting Janice Grohs (contact information above) or by joining the monthly meetings held the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays, 11:30 at Batter Up Restaurant in Childersburg.
