CHILDERSBURG, Ala. – Childersburg High School senior running back Kevin Chatman has been named the Allen Brew Market Athlete of the Week following a historic performance against Weaver last Friday.
Chatman rushed for an astounding 305 yards and six touchdowns on just 14 carries, helping lead the Tigers to a dominant 54-15 victory.
Even more impressive, Chatman did not play a single snap in the fourth quarter.
His monster performance helped Childersburg improve to an undefeated 5-0 on the season – the program’s first 5-0 start in 65 years.
