SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Sylacauga High School senior running back Zakorien Chambliss has been named the Allen Brew Market Athlete of the Week after delivering a spectacular performance in the Aggies’ regular-season finale against St. James last Friday night.
Chambliss ran wild, rushing for 355 yards and three touchdowns on just 19 carries, averaging an incredible 18.7 yards per attempt to lead Sylacauga to a 58-31 victory.
The win capped off a successful season for the Aggies, who finished 6-4 and secured their first winning record in five years.
