SYLACAUGA, ALA. – The Sylacauga Police Department reports that they have arrested a suspect in connection with a fatal shooting that took place at the 800 block of Settlement Rd. in Sylacauga on Saturday, June 7.
Grover Davis, a 47-year old white male, was killed in the shooting incident. William Barron, a 53-year old white male, has been charged with Murder, Non-Family with a Gun.
Barron was served an arrest warrant on Tuesday, Oct. 28. He was subsequently transported to the Talladega County Jail, where his bond was set at $150,000.
The Sylacauga Police Department thanked the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s State Bureau of Investigators for their assistance in the investigation.
