SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Glory Springs Urgent Care marked its official grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Sylacauga Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 10.
The event showcased the commitment of the urgent care center, located at 1023 W Fort Williams St., to providing healthcare services to the community.
Denise Stone, owner of Glory Springs Urgent Care, expressed gratitude for the community’s support and outlined the unique offerings of the non-profit urgent care.
Glory Springs stands out for its inclusive approach, offering healthcare services regardless of insurance status. Stone emphasized their sliding fee schedule for uninsured patients and highlighted holistic detoxes, infrared sauna therapy, and plans to open a holistic practitioner school.
The ceremony was not just about healthcare; it also celebrated community and family. Guests from California, including Ms. Stone’s granddaughter, contributed to the festivities, providing delicious homemade food for those in attendance.
Glory Springs Urgent Care is open from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Walk-ins are welcome. On Friday and Saturday, staff is available by appointment only.
