Annual golf tournament hosted by ServPro to support families of fallen First Responders

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – ServPro will hold their annual golf tournament on Monday, May 15, at the Sylacauga Country Club with a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m.

This tournament is hosted by ServPro every year to say thank you to all of the businesses and people for the continued success of their company.

From their insurance agents that they go through to adjusters, First Responders, and even their customers, it’s a way for ServPro to give back to everyone involved.

However, this year’s edition takes on a different meaning.

ServPro has always supported our First Responders, but this year they are raising money from the tourney for a wonderful cause.

They will have hole sponsorships, players paying to better their chances, mulligans, food, and other ways to give to benefit their efforts. The public can even come out and donate, even if you are not going to play.

So, where is the money going that is raised?

The funds from this ServPro Golf Tournament will go to help the families of Marc Gann and Adam Russell, two First Responders who tragically lost their lives in a medivac helicopter crash in the line of duty on Sunday, April 2.

Marketing director for ServPro, Pete Storey, said, “It was a no-brainer as to where this money would go. It is such a small part of what we should do to honor those two heroes. Our First Responders put their lives on the line for us every day.”
