SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Homeschool families from across the area are invited to gather for the third annual Homeschool Fair hosted by the Talla-Coosa Homeschool Cooperative on Saturday, July 18, at Central Park across from Blue Bell Creameries.

The event will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and is designed to connect homeschooling families with educational resources, local organizations, and community opportunities.

Organizers said the fair is open to experienced homeschool families, those new to homeschooling, families considering the option, and anyone interested in learning more about available programs and support networks.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet local homeschool families, explore classes, co-ops, and educational programs, and connect with homeschool-friendly businesses and organizations. Information on extracurricular activities, family resources, and opportunities for teens will also be available.

In addition to resource booths and networking opportunities, the event will feature recreational activities including pickleball, volleyball, Gaga ball, and other family-friendly games.

Organizers are also seeking homeschool-friendly vendors, food trucks, and community partners interested in participating. Educational service providers, extracurricular organizations, and businesses serving homeschool families are encouraged to get involved.

Families planning to attend are asked to register in advance to help organizers prepare activities, demonstrations, and resource materials.

Admission to the event is free.
