Sylacauga’s “Christmas in the Park” to start later due to inclement weather

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Sylacauga Chamber of Commerce has announced that due to the threat of inclement weather Saturday morning, the start time of the “Christmas in the Park” event scheduled for tomorrow, Dec. 3, has been delayed until noon.

Originally, the festivities we set to begin at 9:00 a.m. Now, “Christmas in the Park” will start at 12:00 p.m.

“Christmas in the Park” will take place at Central Park across from Blue Bell Creameries.

The itinerary for the event is as follows:

Christmas Market: 12:00 – 4:30
Photo Booth: 12:00 – 2:00
Face Painting: 12:00 – 4:00
Kids’ Craft Corner: 12:00 – 4:00
Snow Globe and Slides: 12:00 – 4:30
Train Rides: 12:00 – 5:00
Balloon Art: 1:00 – 5:00
Snow Falling and Visit with Santa: 3:00 – 7:00
Christmas Tree Lighting: 6:00
