SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Sylacauga Alliance for Family Enhancement’s (SAFE) theatre production group, the Southern Dance and Performing Arts Company (SDPAC), has announced another sizeable donation to help fund its upcoming season of shows.
Skelton’s Heating and Cooling has given $500 to SAFE and SDPAC. The amount lands Skelton’s as a named sponsor for the 2022-23 production season which will include “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” in October, “The Wizard of Oz” in February, and “Our Town” in July.
“Tickets only cover a portion of our work,” said Amy McDonald of SAFE and SDPAC. “Without the gifts, monetary, in-kind, and time of individuals, organizations, and businesses, it would be impossible for us to produce the theatre season.”
Financial gifts help pay for the show licensing fees, costumes, set, props, sound & lighting, and any other related cost to bringing a live stage show to the stage.
SAFE’s Southern Dance and Performing Arts Company is a non-profit organization. Therefore, it is always seeking community partners who value the arts and understand their importance to Sylacauga’s quality of life.
