ALPINE, Ala. – State Rep. Steve Hurst has donated $10,000 to the Winterboro High School football program to support its student-athletes and ongoing program needs.
The donation will help provide resources, equipment, and opportunities for members of the Winterboro Bulldogs football team. The funding is also expected to support experiences designed to encourage discipline, leadership, teamwork, accountability, and personal development among the program’s student-athletes.
Hurst’s contribution represents an investment in Winterboro High School and its students, while also supporting the football program’s efforts to provide young athletes with opportunities to grow both on and off the field.
School officials expressed appreciation for Hurst’s continued support of Winterboro High School, its students, and the surrounding community. The donation will provide additional resources as the Bulldogs continue building their football program and creating opportunities for student-athletes to succeed in athletics, academics, and their future endeavors.
