Secretary of State candidate Jim Zeigler to release revamped election fraud protections

ROCKFORD, Ala. – On Monday, Feb. 28, Sylacauga native and Secretary of State candidate Jim Zeigler will release proposed changes of the state’s election fraud protections.

The announcement will come with a speech and news briefing being held at the 911 Center of Coosa County at a Republican Party meeting slated to begin at 6:00 p.m.

Zeigler is running for the open seat that will be vacated by incumbent John Merrill as he is term-limited.

Zeigler says he is running to be a “watchman for election integrity.”
