SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Isabel Anderson Comer Museum and Arts Center will temporarily close in November and December as it undergoes another round of renovations.

The latest phase of work includes replacing interior drywall damaged by decades of water leaks. The project follows repairs to the skylights and resurfacing work, as well as exterior electrical improvements.

Additional work will address moisture-damaged flooring and upgrades to the museum’s heating and air conditioning systems.

The museum is expected to resume normal operations in the new year.
