SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Sylacauga grew closer as a community Monday night.

Hundreds gathered in the front parking lot to worship and pray for healthcare professionals and healing for those who are sick, especially those with COVID-19.

Coosa Valley Medical Center announced earlier today it has treated multiple patients for the virus and tested more than 33 people.

Patrick Harris, pastor of The Tabernacle in Fayetteville, led everyone in prayer following worship.
