SHARE NOW

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Coosa Valley Medical Center is seeing an uptick in positive COVID-19 cases.

Overall hospitalization numbers are up from previous months.

“Like much of the rest of the state, we are currently experiencing a significant increase in COVID cases at CVMC,” said Amy Price, CNO/COO. A week ago we had no COVID patients admitted and today we have 8, with 3 of those in the ICU.  The best defenses against this virus are vaccination, masks, hand washing, and social distancing; and we urge everyone to take those precautions. Information regarding Covid activity on our campus will be updated regularly on the CVMC Facebook page.”

COVID-19 vaccinations are available every Wednesday from 8:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. in Coosa Valley Medical Center’s main lobby. No appointment is required, and no wait times are expected.
