SYLACAUGA, Ala. – On Thursday night, Nov. 10, the Recreation Master Plan survey results will be presented to the Sylacauga community in the Council Chambers of City Hall.
The survey results meeting will take place at 6:00 p.m. and anyone is welcome to attend.
The city of Sylacauga is undertaking a Recreation Master Plan to explore new ways to improve the recreational experience and best manage the park and recreational facility assets in the community.
As part of this process, every Sylacauga household was invited to complete an online survey to help the Sylacauga Parks and Rec department understand how the parks, facilities, and programs are currently used, and how to better meet residents’ needs moving forward.
The city of Sylacauga retained Brailsford & Dunlavey, a nationally recognized municipal advisory consulting firm, to administer the survey.
Chambless & King, an award-winning architecture firm notable for its master planning and building efforts displayed throughout the state, will be presenting an overview of the results as well as the proposed catalyst project.
