SYLACAUGA & CHILDERSBURG, Ala. – Both Sylacauga Childersburg held Food Truck Friday Night events before high school football Spring games this past Friday night.
Sylacauga’s event, presented by Sylacauga Parks & Recreation takes place on a monthly basis from Spring into the Fall, complete with live music and decorated picnic tables in Central Park.The June event is scheduled for Friday, June 12th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
The Childersburg Area Chamber organized the city’s first food truck event. Organizer, Kara Eslinger said that Childersburg will keep their new tradition alive going forward in Kiwanis Park in Downtown Childersburg, “We’ll check to calendars throughout the area to avoid conflicts, and work on building up a roster for rotating food truck vendors.”
