SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Downtown Sylacauga will welcome back the annual Crazy Dayz retail promotion on Saturday, May 16, offering a full day of shopping, food, and family-friendly entertainment.
The event will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in downtown Sylacauga between Broadway Ave. and Norton Ave. as well as 2nd St. and 3rd St., including the First Bank of Alabama parking lot.
Activities will include Touch-A-Truck, Foam Frenzy, a mega hose sprinkler, arts and crafts vendors, food trucks, and a dog parade. Participating downtown merchants will also offer special one-day sales throughout the event.
Organizers are also reviving the “Spend Some Cash, Win Some Cash” promotion. Shoppers who spend $25 at downtown businesses during Crazy Dayz can visit the Chamber tent in the First Bank of Alabama parking lot to enter for a chance to win $250 in Chamber Bucks. The winner will be selected on Monday, May 19.
Event organizers said the celebration will feature “fun, food, sales and sunshine for everyone to enjoy.”
