SYLACAUGA, ALA. – October is famous for its Fall Festivals, as well as a lot of Trunk or Treat events. Through the rest of the month, the region has a lot of them scheduled!
Friday night, Oct. 25, across the Coosa Rivera, Cat ‘n Bird Winery joins with neighbors for an adult Halloween movie event, “Rocky Horror Picture Show,” from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at 11661 Old Hwy 280 in Chelsea.
Saturday, Oct. 26, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sylacauga Parks and Recreation hosts their Fall Festival in Central Park, complete with a Trunk or Treat, carnival games, train rides, face-painting, balloon art, and inflatables.
Lincoln Park hosts “Boo at the Park” from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday with a Haunted Trail joining a Trunk or Treat and other family fun at 1584 Holly Hills Rd.
Cheaha State Park’s Saturday Night Hike features Cheaha ghost stories, starting at 6:00 p.m. at the Bald Rock Boardwalk.
Old Baker Farm presents a day of live music for their Festival Weekend, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00. p.m. in Harpersville, featuring classic rock, country, and blues.
Volunteer Fire Departments are coming together to host annual Trunk or Treat events. The Fayetteville, Lay Lake, and Marble Valley VFDs will set up their event at 171 Fayetteville Circle from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
County Line VFD will also host theirs at their 55 Lake Tate Rd. station from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Area churches get into Trunk or Treat events on Sunday, Oct. 27, including Mt. Sharon Baptist at 6172 Childersburg Fayetteville Hwy, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sylacauga’s Marble City Baptist hosts one starting at 4:00 p.m. at 1512 Quarry Rd.
Lincoln has a Sunday evening Fall Festival from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at 127 Plum Springs Rd.
On Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 6:00 p.m., The Revival Center, located at 6121 Hwy 85 in Vincent, will hold a Fall Festival with family fun that includes a Trunk or Treat and carnival games.
On Halloween Night, Renasant Bank and First Baptist Church of Childersburg will jointly host the annual Childersburg Trunk or Treat from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the parking lot next to City Hall.
That same night, the big Coosa County Truck or Treat event, “Glow in the Park,” will be held in Rockford from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
