SYLACAUGA, Ala. – For those interested in fitness, wellness, and general nutrition, a new store in Sylacauga might pique your interest.
From protein smoothies made in-house to multivitamins or pre-workout mixes, Iron Jones is offering the community new products that owner Randy Fallon says is unavailable elsewhere in the area.
“It just feels good to have the whole community together,” said Fallon on the store’s opening. “That’s the reason I did this. I wanted to introduce fitness [well-being] to the community.”
Fallon is a Sylacauga native and moved back to town to open Iron Jones as he saw a need in the community that could be filled.
“You’re going to find pure products here than aren’t just at GNC or Walmart,” Fallon explained. “{They} have a lot of cheaply made products. You also have somebody here who has studied nutrition. You’ve got somebody here you can ask about this stuff.”
Iron Jones and Fallon want to have an increased presence in the area, and the store is working on partnerships with Workout Anytime in Sylacauga and Bella Luna Fitness & Tanning in Childersburg.
“We’re excited to have [Iron Jones] within the community on Norton Avenue,” said Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Laura Strickland. “We’re running out of space downtown which is a wonderful problem. Iron Jones is a win-win for Sylacauga!”
