TALLADEGA COUNTY, Ala. – A single-vehicle crash early Friday claimed the life of a Goodwater man in Talladega County.
49-year old Jeremy R. Jackson was fatally injured when his 2004 Yamaha YZF600R motorcycle left the road, struck a ditch, and slid into a culvert.
The crash occurred at around 1:50 a.m. on Odens Mill Rd., near Robertson Rd., about a mile east of Oak Grove.
Jackson was thrown from the motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division are investigating the crash. No further details are available at this time.
