SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Arc of South Talladega County will host its annual Sunshine Saturday event this weekend at Central Park.
The event, scheduled for Saturday, May 9 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., is the organization’s largest vendor event of the year and will feature Mother’s Day plants, food vendors, children’s games, and family-friendly activities. Organizers said the event will be held rain or shine, unless severe weather occurs.
The Arc of South Talladega County works to support and advocate for adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities, promoting inclusion within the community. Organizers said community participation in Sunshine Saturday helps support those efforts.
