TALLADEGA, Ala. – Dovetail Landing is inviting individuals to participate in its “Pullin’ 4 Patriots” second annual Clay Shoot Tournament on Saturday, March 2, at the Civilian Marksmanship Park (CMP) in Talladega.
The event, scheduled from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., will feature four-man teams navigating 15 stations totaling 100 birds. Veterans can register for $100, while non-veterans’ registration is $125. A $1,000 grand prize awaits the winners.
Proceeds from the tournament will support veterans and the ongoing development of Dovetail Landing in Lincoln.
Dovetail Landing, a veteran transitioning and wellness community, aims to serve as a “reverse boot camp,” providing comprehensive resources and support for returning veterans. The program offers housing, meals, and essential care services, along with skill-building opportunities through the DoD Skillsbridge program and corporate partnerships.
