SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The state’s positivity rate for COVID-19 is at a seven day average of 38.5%, but the average at Coosa Valley Medical Center since the start of January has been much higher.
On Tuesday, the hospital reported a positive test rate of 56.3% since the beginning of the new year.
CVMC currently has six people hospitalized with COVID-19, with five of those being unvaccinated.
