SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Sylacauga Chamber of Commerce and the Coosa Valley Medical Center Foundation celebrated the addition of a new patient transportation van with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday morning, May 12.

The event was held at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday outside the main lobby of Coosa Valley Medical Center.

Officials said the Foundation’s van represents more than transportation for patients, serving as a symbol of connection, compassion, and community outreach. The new vehicle also reflects CVMC’s ongoing commitment to expanding patient care services beyond the hospital’s walls and improving access for the community it serves.
