COOSA COUNTY, Ala. – The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) reports that a Goodwater man was killed in a pickup truck crash early Sunday morning, Jan. 5.
Brian Combest, 28, was fatally injured when the Chevrolet Silverado he was driving left the road and hit several trees. The wreck occurred on Coosa County Rd. 70 near Coosa County Rd. 41 just after 2:00 a.m.
Combest, who reportedly was not wearing a seat belt, died at the scene.
ALEA State Troopers are investigating the crash.
