CHILDERSBURG, Ala. – Childersburg First Lady Trisha Wesson has announced plans for the city’s annual Christmas Tree Lighting events, and reservations fill up quickly for a favorite tradition – downtown carriage rides.
Here’s what you need to know:
Reservations for carriage rides following Childersburg’s Christmas Tree Lighting on Dec. 3 will be taken on Monday, Oct. 7, beginning at 8:30 a.m. Please text your name and number of your party to (256) 404-8556.
Carriage rides will seat nine to ten people and will operate from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
If your party is small, you may be scheduled to ride with other parties. Reservations will be assigned in order of text received. There is no cost for this event, but you must have a reservation to ride.
Trisha wants to send a special “Thank You” to Alabama Power and Kiwanis Club of Childersburg for sponsoring the carriage rides again this year.
