SYLACAUGA, Ala. – UPDATE – Nov. 22. 1:30 p.m.
Sylacauga Police identified the injured male as Ronnie Culver.
SPD said Culver’s arm was severed by the train. After being struck by the train, Culver was taken to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
His condition is stable.

A man’s condition is unknown after being hit by a train Thursday night underneath Hwy. 280.
Sylacauga Police Chief Kelley Johnson told SylacaugaNews.com a middle aged, white male was struck by a train and taken to a hospital.
The extent of the injuries or the victim’s name are not known at this time.
