TALLAPOOSA COUNTY, Ala. – The Tallapoosa County Sheriff’s Department is currently conducting an investigation into the a case involving the Electronic Solicitation of a Child that was reported on Feb. 1, 2018.
As a result of the investigation, Wilson Lee Crumbley, a 23 year old from Rockford, Alabama was arrested on Feb. 5, 2018 and charged with Electronic Solicitation of a Child. The investigation revealed that Crumbley was inappropriately communicating over Facebook Messenger with a 13-year-old male who resides in Tallapoosa County.
Crumbley was placed in the Tallapoosa County Jail with a bond of $50,000.
The investigation is continuing.
