A Thursday crash in Alpine left a motorcyclist dead

TALLADEGA COUNTY, Ala. – The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) is investigating a Thursday, Oct. 10 crash in Talladega County that left a motorcyclist dead.

At approximately 6:25 a.m., 29-year-old Cody S. Hester was driving a 1994 Harley Davidson FLTCU Ultra Tour Glide CL motorcycle when he was struck by a Dodge pickup truck, driven by 63-year-old Major J. White.

According to ALEA, Hester lost control of his motorcycle, left the road, and was thrown from his motor vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident occurred on Alpine-Winterboro Rd. in Talladega County.
