MUNFORD, Ala. – A two-vehicle crash at approximately 12:45 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31, claimed the life of a 35-year-old Eastaboga woman.
Teresa D. Shell was fatally injured when the 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan she was driving struck a 2001 Peterbilt 330 tow truck. Shell was pronounced dead at the scene.
The tow truck was unoccupied and in the roadway while being used to recover a disabled vehicle at the time of the crash.
The crash occurred on Alabama Hwy 21 near mile marker 246, approximately three miles north of Munford in Talladega County.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division is investigating.
