Comer Museum and Arts Center hosting Black History Art Extravaganza through Feb. 28

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Isabel Anderson Comer Museum and Arts Center is celebrating Black History Month with its February exhibit, the Black History Art Extravaganza, running now through Saturday, Feb. 28.

The exhibit, described as a celebration of African American roots and renaissance, opened on Tuesday, Feb. 3 and will remain on display through the end of the month at the museum on Broadway Ave. in Sylacauga.

A public reception is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 19 at 6:00 p.m. The museum will offer free refreshments and entertainment during the event.

Admission to the exhibit and reception is free. Organizers invite the community to attend and take part in the monthlong celebration.
