CHILDERSBURG, Ala. – Childersburg’s Elks Lodge hosted the January Chamber Coffee from the Greater Coosa Valley Chamber of Commerce, preparing a huge breakfast buffet for a great crowd to kick off the 2026 season for the monthly event.
The Elks are a charitable organization that supports numerous local causes and community needs in Childersburg and beyond. Donald Caine’s brief introductory welcome focused on the organization’s many community grant awards. His Elks Lodge shirt slogan says it best:
“We Care, We Share.”
“We make a lot of grant awards as we support as many aspects of the community as possible,” said Caine. “We try to stay focused on community involvement, both out in the community and hosting events at the Lodge, especially in support and appreciation for our wonderful and dedicated First Responders.”
