Coosa Valley Medical Center hosts 36th annual Seafood Scramble golf tournament

FAYETTEVILLE, Ala. – Coosa Valley Medical Center held its 36th annual Seafood Scramble golf tournament on Monday, Oct. 13, at the FarmLinks golf course at Pursell Farms.

The event, benefiting the Coosa Valley Medical Center Foundation, brought golfers together for a day of fun, fellowship, and support for community wellness. Shotgun starts were held at 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. for the four-person scramble, which featured hole-in-one and Closest to the Pin prizes.

The Allen Team claimed first place in the Gross Division, followed by BlueCross BlueShield and Curtis & Son Funeral Home. Net Division winners were Coosa Valley Anesthesiology in first, Coosa Valley Respiratory in second, and Sylacauga Parks and Recreation in third.

Closest to the Pin winners were Ed Adams and Hunter Johns on Hole 8, and Ed Turpin and Tyler Alford on Hole 15.

Participants also enjoyed the tournament’s signature seafood lunch.
