TALLADEGA, Ala. – A man has been arrested and charged with capital murder in connection with the July 5 shooting deaths of four people in Talladega, authorities said.
Talladega Police announced Tuesday, July 22, that 28-year-old Daishawn Tamar Jackson has been charged in the deaths of Jeffreon Quejuantay Keith, 40; Querida Lenora Rachelle Flores, 30; Jamari Rashad Evans, 27; and Nicholas Lanod Keith, 44.
All four victims were found inside a residence on the 1500 block of Old Shocco Rd. around 3:30 p.m. on July 5.
Officers said all victims were residents of Talladega.
Jackson was previously arrested and booked on July 9 on a charge of certain person forbidden to carry a firearm, a violation typically filed against individuals with prior convictions.
Authorities have not released a motive and said the investigation remains ongoing. Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying others who may have been involved.
