SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Sylacauga Police Department closed Oldfield Rd. near Marble City Heights Circle in front of Indian Valley Elementary School, due to a train derailment that occurred on Tuesday night, May 27.
The police department strongly advises motorists to avoid the area and use alternate routes until further notice.
Emergency crews and workers are on the scene, and cooperation is appreciated to ensure the safety and efficiency of both the motorists and the workers.
