SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Cedartown Foods COO Kris Fisher came to Sylacauga to welcome guests, hold a ribbon-cutting, and present a hefty check to the Sylacauga Board of Education. It’s to celebrate a brand new Bojangles location for her company.

Sylacauga’s new Bojangles became the 36th location for Cedartown Foods in the region. It’s located in one of the front out-parcels inside Payton Park, next door to the T-Mobile Store.

The new location already employs 60 people, led by the local management team of Lacey Trammell and Shelley Schulman.

Bojangles is a Carolina-born restaurant chain specializing in craveable Southern food made by hand from real recipes.

Founded in 1977 as a single location in Charlotte, North Carolina, it grew again today as the new Sylacauga location opened it’s doors. It will be open from 5:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Sundays.
