SYLACAUGA, Ala. – With Fall sports hitting their stride, Sylacauga City Schools wanted to point out upgrades they were able to make for all of their athletes. The new Aggie Performance Center is now open for all student-athletes.

Sylacauga High School celebrated the grand opening of the Aggie Performance Center with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Aug. 20. The new facility, located in the Tom Calvin Field House at Legion Stadium, offers enhanced support for all student-athletes.
The new center, designed for various sports programs, features advanced training equipment, areas for strength and conditioning, and spaces for rehabilitation and recovery.
Multiple entrances ensure privacy for male and female athletes. This investment shows the district’s commitment to improving athletic resources and serving all student-athletes, not just football players.
Following the ribbon-cutting, a community pep rally kicked off the fall sports season. The event introduced fall sports teams, featured spirited performances, and brought the community together to show support for local athletes.
This new facility is seen as a key step toward equipping student-athletes with the resources they need to succeed.
