CHILDERSBURG, Ala. – October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but the effort to raise funds for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation is starting before that for Childersburg’s Renasant Bank branch.
Tuesday, Sept. 3 is “Hot Diggity Dog Day” until 4:30 p.m., or until the hotdogs are gone. Pick-up a hot dog, chips, and a drink for three dollars, with all the proceeds going to the B.C.R.F.
You’ll be asked to bring along gently-used items – no clothes or shoes that will be a part of their Indoor Yard Sale to be held the entire week of Oct. 21-25 at the downtown Childersburg branch, located at 120 8th Ave. SW.
They’ll be accepting yard sale items now through Friday, Oct. 18 in support of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
